TOUKEN-KASUGADO has been a professional swordsmith since 1961 and licensed retailer since June 3, 1970. We
are experts in quality control with many years of experience.
Our premises are located in Seki City where the production of Mino swords has evolved since 1336.
The proprietor is a native of this time-honored city of Seki and has lived here for his entire life.
Sword School classes are also provided for you to learn the true essence of the Japanese sword.

- In order to ship a Japanese registered sword outside of Japan, it is first necessary for
us to apply for an export license by returning a registration certificate to the Japanese Agency for
Cultural Affairs. This application process normally takes approximately two to three weeks.
- An application for an export license will be submitted immediately after your payment has been
confirmed.
Once payment for an order has been confirmed, a registration certificate will be sent out;
therefore, we cannot cancel an order after a payment has been received.
- We assume no responsibility whatsoever for any issues pertaining to the laws and customs of your
country. Please make sure that you have carefully checked all relevant laws and customs pertaining to the
import and ownership of swords in your country before placing your order. Some countries may require an
import license; therefore, please prepare and confirm your import license in advance.
- The standard cost of shipment and insurance is included in the retail price. Standard shipment costs
using EMS (Express Mail Service) are used for overseas shipments. All non-standard sized packages: long
packages, large and heavy packages, etc., are shipped by international courier at a cost of 40,000 JPY per
item, payable in advance.
- We accept payments by cash and bank transfer only. (We do not accept payment by credit card.)
Once your order form has been received, we will send you an e-mail informing you of our bank account to
transfer payment for your order. Delivery time for your order, from receipt of payment to delivery, takes
approximately four to five weeks.

All personal information is strictly controlled to prevent its leak. We do not use any personal
information except for the purpose for which it is intended.
